October 2021 in Review

I had plans this month to make my way through a bunch of horror/thriller books as, well, tis' the season. Unfortunately, that didn't end up happening...like at all. This is the least I have read since I started my blog, and I can't help but feel a bit guilty. I've just been in the mood for anime, and decided that I would try and catch up with all the new releases that came out the past few seasons.

While I wasn't reading books though, I was still reading constantly as I found my attention solely focused on fanfiction. Yepp, I spent the entire month just binge reading a ton of fanfiction, and still am to be quite frank. Pretty successfully I might add, because I found quite a few gems which I am happy about.

Now, seeing as I barely read anything, this months post is going to be formatted a bit differently since I don't really have many, or any, statistics to go into. Nonetheless, here are the very few things I read this month!

I read a grand total of 1 book and 8 volumes of manga this month. And, to be honest, I only read the one book because it was an ARC that I needed to have read before the end of the month. I tried picking up another book, but my mind was focused entirely on anime, so I wasn't going to force myself to read if I was going to be distracted.

Here are all the books I read:

  • Tokyo Revengers Vol.5-8 by Ken Wakui ⭐⭐⭐⭐1/2

  • Vanitas no Carte Vol.1-4 Jun Mochizuki ⭐⭐⭐1/2

  • Far from the Light of Heaven by Tade Thompson ⭐⭐⭐
