This is my third book by C.J. Tudor, having read The Chalk Man and The Burning Girls.

Dubbed the Queen of Twists according to the tagline, this is my first book by this author having skipped the boat for Rock, Paper, Scissors.

Two things first, I did not read the synopsis before reading this, and I listened to this while playing The Painscreew Killings.

I was a tiny bit worried going into this as I wasn't sure if I was going to enjoy it despite it having good reviews.

Did I read the synopsis, yes, but did I remember what this was about going into it, no. Will I also remember it after the fact, also a no?
