Gyo is a horror manga by Junji Ito.
I already read Uzumaki by him, and I by far preferred that book over this. Uzumaki was a bit scarier because the spirals were just unsettling and there were a lot of uncomfortable body horror things going on. Gyo is less scary unless you have a fear of fish with legs.
Out of everything in this manga, I found that the bonus chapter about the human shaped holes in the fault was creepiest thing about this.
